The project involved a complete redesign of the Unlimited Suriname Tours (UST) website, a travel agency specializing in guided tours across Suriname. The focus was on creating a responsive, user-friendly platform that not only informed visitors about the country and available tours but also encouraged bookings directly through the site.
Unlimited Suriname Tours approached this project with the need to modernize their outdated website. They wanted a clean and visually engaging platform that reflected their values and mission, while also showcasing the natural beauty and cultural richness of Suriname. The new website had to function as both an informative hub and a booking tool for their clients.
To meet these needs, I focused on designing a website that combined bold visual storytelling with practical functionality. Strong imagery was used to capture the essence of Suriname and give users a taste of the experiences available. A bold color palette was introduced, chosen deliberately to highlight calls-to-action and key booking features.
Goals
The main objective of the project was to transform Unlimited Suriname Tours’ old website into a modern, responsive platform that could both inform and inspire. The team wanted visitors to quickly understand the wide range of tours available, gain a sense of the company’s values and mission, and ultimately feel compelled to book a trip. At the heart of this goal was the desire to strike a balance between being informative and persuasive—creating a digital experience that mirrored the excitement of visiting Suriname while also providing the practical tools needed for booking.

To bring this vision to life, the design process centered around combining strong storytelling with functionality. Navigation was carefully structured to ensure that information about tours and services was clear and easy to access, while interactive elements like booking forms and contact options were seamlessly integrated into the flow of the site. A bold, attention-grabbing color palette tied everything together, with its strategic use making calls-to-action stand out without overwhelming the design. By focusing on visuals, usability, and consistent branding, the final website became not just a place to browse tours, but a tool that actively encouraged users to take the next step and book their adventure.
